A beautiful spot out there on the bank of the Iset river. At this place the river meets a huge rock. As the running waters hit against the rock they make a loud noise. That is the reason why the rock was called Revoon or the Roarer. Wonderful rocks and birch trees surround the river making it an unforgettable site. Some rocks are equipped with anchors for ropes and are suitable for rock climbing.
Near the river one finds a cave where a hermit-monk used to live. These days the cave is inhabited by bats sheltering inside since it is quite warm all year round. Don’t forget to bring along a torch and gloves to explore the cave. You might also need a set of overalls or some extra clothes to change after smudging in clay which covers the ground of the cave.
